Job summary

Platinum Recruitment is seeking an Intermediate Civil Engineer to join our land development practice in Wanaka, Central Otago. You will work on residential subdivisions and land development projects, spanning consenting, design and construction stages.

Applicants must have a Civil Engineering qualification and 3–6 years in consultancy, with experience in earthworks, roading and three-waters design; strong communication and organisational skills are essential. Visa or NZ residency required.

Qualifications

• A degree or diploma in Civil Engineering.
• 3–6 years of consultant experience.
• Experience with 12D or Civil 3D design software.
• Understanding of earthworks, roading and three-waters design.
• Strong communication and organisational skills.

Responsibilities

• Work across projects from consenting, design, tendering, construction and titles.
• Prepare engineering drawings, calculations, reports and technical documentation.
• Carry out site inspections, technical reports, quantities and tender documentation.
• Liaise with clients, councils, contractors and other consultants throughout project delivery.

• Good communication and organisational skills.
