A leading retail company in New Zealand seeks a seasonal Team Member for the busy Christmas period. Responsibilities include assisting customers on the shop floor, managing checkouts, and maintaining an inviting store. Candidates should be active, team-oriented, and available throughout December. Join us for the busiest and brightest time of year as a fixed-term seasonal Team Member. Start dates vary from mid-September to mid-November and you’ll be with us until around mid-January. Many Christmas Team Members have progressed into roles throughout The Warehouse Group, so this role could be a stepping stone for longer-term opportunities.
On the shopfloor, you’ll help customers find everything they need for a special Christmas, whether it’s reaching a toy on the top shelf or pointing them to the right aisle. You’ll also support merchandising displays and work alongside our Night Fill elves to keep shelves stocked and sparkling.
At checkouts, you’ll be the friendly face that helps customers wrap up their Christmas shopping. From scanning gifts to packing bags with care, you’ll make every transaction count. You’ll keep the front of house looking inviting, making sure last-minute stocking fillers are well-stocked. It’s all about creating a great in-store customer experience!
