Overview

The Warehouse is the home of Christmas, a destination for customers to find everything they need for an affordable and special Christmas. We’re looking for fixed-term seasonal Team Members to join us. Start dates vary from mid-September to mid-November and you’ll be with us until around mid-January. Many of our Christmas Team Members have progressed into roles throughout The Warehouse Group, so this role could be your stepping stone for longer term and wider opportunities!

On the shopfloor, you’ll help customers find everything they need for a special Christmas, whether it’s reaching a toy on the top shelf or pointing them to the right aisle. You’ll also support merchandising displays and work alongside our Night Fill elves to keep shelves stocked and sparkling.

At checkouts, you’ll be the friendly face that helps customers wrap up their Christmas shopping. From scanning gifts to packing bags with care, you’ll make every transaction count. You’ll keep the front of house looking inviting, making sure last-minute stocking fillers are well-stocked. It’s all about creating a great in-store customer experience!

Responsibilities

You’ll be on the shopfloor helping customers, including locating items on shelves and guiding them to the right aisles. You’ll support merchandising displays and assist with maintaining stock levels with the Night Fill team. On checkouts, you’ll scan gifts, bag purchases with care, and help maintain a welcoming front-of-house environment with well-stocked last-minute items.

Qualifications

You’ll be on your feet, active in a fast-paced retail environment, and able to work independently or as part of a team. If you show up, take initiative, and have a can-do attitude, this role could be for you. Retail experience is a plus, but attitude and willingness to pitch in are what matter most.

We’re especially keen to hear from people with strong availability throughout December and over public holidays when the rush is at its peak.
