Overview

Love fashion and festive vibes? We’re on the hunt for reliable, customer-focused team members to bring the magic to our apparel department this Christmas. The Warehouse is the home of Christmas, a destination for customers to find everything they need for an affordable and special Christmas. We’re looking for fixed-term seasonal Team Members to join us. Start dates vary from mid-September to mid-November and you’ll be with us until around mid-January. Many of our Christmas Team Members have progressed into roles throughout The Warehouse Group, so this role could be your steppingstone for longer term and wider opportunities.

Responsibilities

• In our apparel department you’ll be showing our customers how they can have a special and stylish Christmas for less. This includes guiding them to find the perfect Secret Santa gift, Christmas day outfit, stocking fillers, or helping them discover our unique Kiwiana-themed apparel.
• You’ll assist in pulling the festive wonderland from the stockroom to the shop floor and stocking and maintaining displays to ensure our apparel section always looks inviting and fresh.

Qualifications

• You’ll be right in the action, on your feet, helping customers, and keeping things moving. If you’re someone who shows up, takes initiative, and works well independently and in a team, then this role is for you.
• Retail experience is a plus, but what matters is your attitude and willingness to roll up your sleeves and get stuck in. You get what great customer service is all about.
• We’re especially keen to hear from people with strong availability throughout December and over public holidays, as this is when the magic (and the rush) really happens.
