Job summary

Foodstuffs North Island is seeking a full-time assistant for our Chilled & Frozens Department. The role covers retail merchandising and customer service in the aisles, with occasional heavy lifting and shifts from Tuesday to Saturday, 8.30am to 5.00pm. An earlier finish at 4pm is possible for family commitments.

The work is varied and fast-paced, requiring a productive team spirit and the ability to work in back storerooms as needed.

Qualifications

• Experience in retail merchandising and providing great customer service.
• Willingness and ability to lift heavy items when required.
• Flexible to work in a small, fast-paced team and assist across departments.

Responsibilities

• Assist with in-aisle merchandising and customer service tasks.
• Help stock shelves and manage back Chilled & Frozen Storerooms as needed.
• Be part of a small, productive team focused on efficient service.

• Tuesday –8.30am to 5.00pm
• Wednesday– 8.30am to 5.00pm
• Thursday –8.30am to 5.00pm
• Friday – 8.30amto 5.00pm
• Saturday –8.30am to 5.00pm

Thereis also the opportunity for an earlier finish time of 4pm if the successfulcandidate has family commitments, etc.

Thework is varied and involves both retail merchandising as well as Customer Servicein the aisles. Some heavy lifting isinvolved at times as well as working periodically in the back Chilled &Frozen Storerooms. This department is asmall team who work at a quick pace so we’re obviously looking for someone witha productive spirit!
