Health New Zealand - Te Whatu Ora - Waitaha Canterbury in Christchurch invites applications for a Child, Adolescent and Family (CAF) Psychiatrist. Roles are available on a part-time, full-time, casual/temporary and permanent basis within a well-established CAMHS team.

You will provide specialist psychiatric assessment and treatment to tamariki and rangatahi, collaborating with a skilled multidisciplinary group to deliver high-quality, developmentally appropriate care, with opportunities for

Qualifications

Registration with the Medical Council of New Zealand or eligibility for registration in Psychiatry.
Fellowship of the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Psychiatrists (FRANZCP) or equivalent.
Collaborative approach within a multidisciplinary team.
Commitment to culturally safe practice and reducing inequities for Māori.

Responsabilités

Provide specialist psychiatric assessment, diagnosis and treatment for CAF/children and adolescents.
Work within a multidisciplinary team to support collaborative care planning and clinical decision-making.
Contribute to training and supervision within the service and university links.
Support a stable, well-staffed service with opportunities for flexible working arrangements.
