This role entails conceptualizing, developing, and implementing the Organization’s legal and regulatory strategy and associated policies to ensure full compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and industry standards, while proactively mitigating current and future legal and regulatory risks. The role is responsible for safeguarding the legal interests of Organization in both the short and long term, supporting business sustainability and strategic objectives. This includes representing the organization in legal and regulatory matters, providing expert legal counsel to the Board and senior management, and actively engaging with regulatory bodies such as the Telecommunication Regulatory Commission (TRC) to ensure alignment with regulatory frameworks, facilitate approvals, and manage compliance-related obligations.
