Fabrum in Christchurch, New Zealand, is seeking a Chemical Process Engineer to design and deliver innovative process solutions across gas production, liquefaction, storage and dispensing systems.

You will work across the full engineering lifecycle, from technical specifications and process design to supporting project delivery, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to advance clean energy and cryogenic technology.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in Chemical or Process Engineering or closely related discipline.
• Experience designing process equipment and systems in industrial gas, energy or related environments.
• Strong grasp of process engineering principles, calculations and design methodologies.
• Ability to prepare technical docs including PFDs, P&IDs and process specifications.
• Excellent problem solving and ability to deliver practical solutions.
• Good communication skills across multidisciplinary teams.

Responsabilidades

• Develop process designs for gas production, liquefaction, storage, reticulation and dispensing systems.
• Prepare Process Flow Diagrams (PFDs) and Piping & Instrumentation Diagrams (P&IDs).
• Perform engineering calculations and computational modelling.
• Support sales and project teams with technical specifications and solutions.
• Identify and mitigate process safety and environmental risks.
• Collaborate with mechanical, electrical and instrumentation engineers to deliver integrated solutions.
• Ensure designs meet industry standards, regulatory requirements and project specs.
• Drive continuous improvement across engineering processes and ways of working.
