Job summary

We look for at least 2 years of relevant experience or a Level 4 qualification, strong food safety knowledge, and excellent time management. The role requires flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and public holidays as needed.

Qualifications

• At least 2 years of relevant kitchen experience.
• Qualification of level 4 or above.
• Strong knowledge of food preparation and safety.
• Excellent time management and organisation.
• Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced kitchen.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, cook, and present dishes to a consistently high standard.
• Follow recipes and quality standards for all menu items.
• Maintain hygiene, cleanliness, and kitchen safety.
• Monitor stock levels, assist with ordering, and minimise waste.
• Label and store ingredients correctly.
• Work with kitchen and front-of-house staff to ensure smooth service.
• Assist with menu planning and daily specials.
• Manage food preparation during busy service periods.
• Ensure compliance with food safety regulations.
• Keep the kitchen organised and efficient at all times.
