Qualifications

How You'll Shine

As the Chef de Partie, you will be responsible for running the day-to-day operation of the kitchen, planning and designing menus that align with financial goals and appeal to all guests, providing Food and Beverages in a timely and professional manner.

How You’ll Shine

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Prioritizing food safety and hygiene of food preparation as outlined in HACCP principles and local guidelines.
  • Preparing, producing, and presenting all foods according to Food Hygiene and Safety standards.
  • Demonstrating eagerness to increase food knowledge and skills.
  • Striving to minimize food wastage.
  • Providing an exceptional guest experience.
  • Contributing ideas on menus, rosters, and team issues.
  • Auditing kitchen stock and grocery lines daily and ordering stock as required.

What You'll Bring

To succeed, you will be:

  • Holding relevant trade qualifications or have three (3) years of relevant experience (ANZSCO Skill Level 2) — desirable but not essential
  • Fluent in English (written and verbal)
  • Experienced in Food & Beverage in a Hotel/Resort environment
  • Driven to deliver an exceptional guest experience
  • Adaptive with a vision for quality products
  • Able to work a flexible roster, including nights, weekends, and holidays
