Responsibilities

• Consistently deliver high standards of products in the kitchen.

• Manage prep lists and ordering daily; liaise with suppliers.

• Monitor speed of service to guests; address kitchen issues with manager.
• Ensure staff present and adhere to uniform guidelines.
• Report complaints, accidents, incidents; document appropriately.
• Comply with contracts and deliver customer service that meets expectations.

We are seeking an experienced and motivated Chef to join our team at FIVERIVER HOSPITALITY LIMITED. The Chef will be required to work on weekends and public holidays as needed to meet the operational and catering requirements of the business.

GENERAL DUTIES INCLUDE BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO:

• Consistently deliver high standards of products in the kitchen
• Monitoring and adhering to hygiene regulations and standards.
• Food preparation and cooking.
• Ensuring presentation of all menu items to correct specifications and correct portion sizes.
• Ensuring the correct procedures and methods for all recipes are being followed.
• Correctly manage prep lists
• Correctly manage the ordering process daily and liaise with suppliers when needed.
• Manage deliveries and invoices of goods being delivered.
• Assist with the introduction of new menus.
• Monitor the speed at which our product reaches our guests.
• Point of contact for all kitchen issues addressed by the manager.
• Ensure all staff are well presented and adhere to uniform guidelines.
• Reporting complaints, accidents, and incidents immediately and documenting on the appropriate form
• Any other tasks as reasonably required.
• Comply with all aspects of any contract, project or task and deliver customer services that meet or exceed the expectation of the customer or business.
