Job summary

Woolworths Group in Wellington is seeking a Checkout Operator to join our team. You will provide face-to-face customer service at checkouts, handle cash and EFTPOS payments, and assist customers with product knowledge in-store.

You'll help ensure compliance with age-restricted sales and support customers at self-service checkouts, contributing to a friendly, fast-paced shopping experience for New Zealanders.

We're looking for a Checkout Operator to join our Woolworths New Zealand team. We're proud of the diversity of our team and the roles they play in running our store - this role is great for anyone looking to refine their craft.

What You'll Do

• Face to face customer service at checkouts
• Manage cash and EFTPOS payments
• Help our customers by being knowledgeable about our products and services in our store
• Help us stick to the rules around the sale of age restricted goods, such as tobacco and alcohol
• Assist customers through our self-service checkouts
