Job summary

Woolworths Group New Zealand is seeking a friendly Checkout Operator to join our store team in Alexandra.

You will provide face-to-face customer service at checkouts, manage cash and EFTPOS, and help customers with product knowledge while observing age-restricted goods rules. A positive attitude, teamwork, and being comfortable on your feet for shifts and self-service support are essential.

We’re looking for a Checkout Operator to join our Woolworths New Zealand team.

What You'll Do

• Face to face customer service at checkouts
• Manage cash and EFTPOS payments
• Help our customers by being knowledgeable about our products and services in our store
• Help us stick to the rules around the sale of age restricted goods, such as tobacco and alcohol
• Assist customers through our self-service checkouts
