Job summary

Woolworths Supermarkets New Zealand is seeking a Checkout Operator to join our team. This role focuses on face-to-face customer service at checkouts and handling cash and EFTPOS payments.

You will help customers with product knowledge, assist at self-service checkouts, and ensure compliance with age-restricted goods rules. We value a friendly, team-oriented attitude and a willingness to stand on your feet during shifts.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Face to face customer service at checkouts.
• Manage cash and EFTPOS payments.
• Help customers by being knowledgeable about our products and services in our store.
• Help us stick to the rules around the sale of age restricted goods, such as tobacco and alcohol.
• Assist customers through our self-service checkouts.
