Job summary

Wise Group is seeking an experienced Change & Capability Partner to influence people, culture and organisation-wide outcomes. The role reports to the HR Manager and works across the Group to deliver strategic projects that strengthen capability and drive workforce readiness.

You'll partner with senior leaders to embed Te Tiriti o Waitangi principles and culturally responsive practice, while delivering change initiatives across multiple organisations within the group.

Qualifications

• Significant experience in Human Resources, Organisational Development or Change Management.
• Proven ability to lead organisation-wide change initiatives.
• Strong stakeholder engagement, coaching and facilitation skills.
• Track record delivering strategic people programmes and initiatives.
• Ability to translate strategy into measurable outcomes.
• Commitment to Te Tiriti o Waitangi and culturally responsive practice.
• Experience influencing senior leaders and delivering cross-organisational programmes.

This unique and exciting opportunity would suit an experienced HR, organisational development or change professional looking for a role with organisation-wide impact.

Unlike a traditional partnering role, you'll work across the Wise Group, leading strategic people initiatives that strengthen organisational capability, support workforce transformation and change, enhance employee experience and build future workforce readiness.

Reporting to the HR Manager, you'll work as part of the wider People & Culture team, partnering closely with the GM People & Culture, HR Business Partners, HR Team Lead and other P&C colleagues to deliver strategic projects and initiatives that support organisational priorities across the Group.

Sitting at the intersection of organisational development, workforce strategy, leadership capability and change, this role will contribute to initiatives that strengthen organisational performance, build capability and support sustainable organisational success. Working collaboratively with leaders across the organisation, you'll help translate strategy into practical action and meaningful outcomes.

Key areas of responsibility include:

• Leading organisational change and transformation initiatives
• Supporting workforce planning and future workforce readiness
• Driving employee engagement and culture initiatives
• Building leadership capability and organisational effectiveness
• Delivering strategic People and Culture projects and programmes
• Using workforce insights and data to drive continuous improvement
• Championing innovative and future-focused ways of working
• Partnering with leaders to embed Te Tiriti o Waitangi principles and culturally responsive practice into organisational development and change initiatives
• Supporting initiatives that strengthen leadership capability and culturally responsive leadership practice across the organisation

Success in this role will be measured by stronger organisational capability, increased leadership effectiveness, successful change adoption, a positive employee experience and workforce readiness for the future.

This role offers the opportunity to work across a diverse group of organisations, balancing strategic thinking with practical delivery while helping leaders navigate growth, change and increasing workforce complexity.

You'll be working primarily from our Hamilton East office with some hybrid flexibility. Some travel across the motu may be required from time to time.
