Queenstown Playcentre is seeking a Centre Coordinator to work 23 hours per week in a part-time, permanent role based at Queenstown Primary School. You will build adult capability, provide pedagogical guidance, and ensure Playcentre philosophy informs sessions and children’s learning.
The role focuses on whānau empowerment, curriculum development, and health and safety compliance, with emphasis on Te Tiriti o Waitangi and mana whenua values. NZ residency or valid NZ work visa required.

Working in collaboration with centre whānau and other centre support staff, the Centre Coordinator focuses on building adult capability and confidence.
As the Person Responsible on session, this role provides high quality support and pedagogical guidance to Playcentre whānau. The Centre Coordinator ensures sessions and programmes reflect Playcentre Philosophy and enriches children’s learning and development.
