The position:

Monday to Friday, 8.30am to 3.30pm

Preparing and cooking vegetarian meals for approximately 50 tamariki each day

Ability to cater for dietary/allergy requirements is essential for this role

Responsible for ordering, and working within a budget

NZ residency or a valid NZ work visa is a pre-requisite

Kindercare police vet all potential employees

An experienced Cook who is:

  • Competent in preparing, cooking and serving food that follows our recipes
  • Committed to the highest standards of cleanliness, and adhering to our policies and procedures
  • A cheerful multi-tasker, with excellent time-management skills
  • Willing to take care of some cleaning and laundry
  • Flexibility to help out with other duties within the Centre
  • A clear communicator who values the importance of team work
