Qualifications

• Experience leading FMCG or livestock teams in a processing environment.
• Ability to coach and coordinate a team daily.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office and operational systems.
• Strong written and verbal communication; clear under pressure.
• Commitment to health and safety, animal welfare and compliance.

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day cattleyards operations safely and efficiently.
• Promote high animal welfare standards across handling and processing.
• Receive stock, reconcile inventory, and maintain accurate records.
• Maintain livestock system records and support stock appraisal and washing.
• Set expectations, coach staff, and ensure strong team communication.
• Plan workforce resources, inductions, PPE, tools, and daily work.
• Conduct safety interactions and audits, identify risks early.
• Monitor quality, food safety and regulatory compliance.
• Build relationships with supervisors, vets, livestock and transport teams.
