Animates Vetcare is seeking a Casual Cattery Assistant at Richmond Rd, Grey Lynn, to care for feline guests and maintain a safe, clean, and comfortable environment. You'll support the Vetcare team during busy periods and help ensure high standards of care.

The role suits animal lovers with cat handling experience, a passion for welfare, and strong teamwork. Weekend and public holiday availability preferred.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Feeding and providing fresh water to cats in our care.
• Cleaning cattery facilities, cat condos, and litter trays to a high standard.
• Assisting with cat exercise and enrichment routines.
• Monitoring cat health and wellbeing and alerting the clinical team to any concerns.
• Maintaining excellent hygiene and housekeeping standards throughout the day.
• Following health, safety, and animal welfare protocols at all times.
• Working collaboratively with Vet Nurses and the wider Vetcare team.
• Providing a positive experience for both pets and their owners.
