Job summary

Health New Zealand | Te Whatu Ora Auckland invites applications from experienced Cath Lab nurses to join the Cardiovascular Unit (CVU) at North Shore Hospital. This is a permanent, part-time role at 0.7 FTE, with shifts 8 hours Mon-Fri in a fast-paced cath lab environment.

You will bring NZ registration and a current APC, with at least 2 years in Cath Lab/Cardiology, strong communication, and the ability to prioritise under pressure.

Qualifications

• New Zealand Registered Nurse with current Annual Practising Certificate.
• Minimum of 2 years post-registration experience in the Cath Lab and Cardiology.
• Confident communicator and natural problem solver.
• Thrives in high-energy environments and can prioritise effectively.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality nursing care in the Cardiovascular Unit.
• Assist in coronary angiography, angioplasty and device implantations as part of the cath lab team.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary team to ensure patient safety and smooth workflow.
