Job description

Are you keen to start your next exciting opportunity? Here at PGG Wrightson we are looking for an administration superstar to join our Supply Chain team.

Our stores are supported by our Supply Chain team who ensure we stock the right products to service our clients. A core part of this team, the Category Support Coordinator role exists primarily to provide high levels of administrative support and coordination to the Category Managers to ensure the efficient and effective operation of the Retail categories.

The role will be working in our Robin Mann Place (Christchurch airport) office and will be responsible for maintaining the integrity of PGG Wrightson's data within multiple systems ensuring the accuracy of pricing and supplier related information.

This is an administrative role where attention to detail and the ability to work to deadlines is required. Whilst experience in a similar role would be helpful, full training will be provided to a proven administrator with the skills we are seeking.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Management and maintenance of product pricing
  • Loading of promotions, special pricing and/or temporary matrices
  • Creating new product codes in line with set guidelines
  • Management of the Retail store network's requests for matrix pricing.
  • Provide administrative support to our Category Mangers to ensure relevant 'Terms of Trade' are complete.

Skills and Experience:

  • A proven track record in customer service and great attention to detail
  • Strong overall administration and communication skills
  • The ability to maintain effective working relationships with all stakeholders
  • Intermediate to Advanced level of Microsoft Office Programmes in particular Excel (Advanced Retail and/or Dynamics D365 experience would be advantageous)
  • Some knowledge of farming products will be advantageous.
