Job description
Overview

At Flo & Frankie, we’re looking for a passionate and detail‑loving Category Manager to join our Head Office team based in Parnell and help make our product range shine.

The role of the Category Manager is all about making sure our categories perform at their best — growing sales, boosting profit, and keeping our beautiful product mix fresh and exciting. You’ll work closely across the business to oversee sell‑through, manage stock levels, and make sure our customers always find something they love.

This is a hands‑on role for someone who loves blending creativity with clever decision‑making. You’ll use insight and trends to shape category performance, whilst helping drive Flo & Frankie’s growth and keep our product offering fresh, relevant and irresistible.

What you’ll do
  • Dive into sales and stock performance to uncover trends, spot opportunities and take action to drive growth.
  • Blend customer insights, trend knowledge and supply planning to deliver category strategies.
  • Collaborate with Buying, Marketing, and Merchandise Planning to create seasonal strategies and promotions.
  • Keep stock flowing smoothly - managing allocations, replenishments, transfers, slow‑selling lines, discontinued lines and end‑of‑season clearance.
  • Oversee samples and carry‑over stock, ensuring pricing and presentation standards are maintained.
  • Share clear weekly reports on category performance with actionable ideas for improvement.
What you’ll bring
  • A love for data and the ability to turn insight into action.
  • Strong analytical skills and advanced Excel experience.
  • A proactive, can‑do attitude with a knack for problem‑solving.
  • Excellent organisation and attention to detail.
  • A collaborative spirit and strong communication skills.
  • Passion for driving category success and delivering great results.
  • Experience in a retail, buying or planning role, with confidence using retail systems.
