Job summary

HealthCare NZ is seeking a casual community Support Worker to assist clients at home and in the community in New Plymouth. You’ll provide practical and emotional support to help clients reach their goals and live fulfilling lives.

Responsibilities include meal prep, outings, medication support, and personal care. A positive attitude and flexibility to work alternate weekends are important; healthcare qualifications are advantageous and a NZ driver’s licence is typically required.

Qualifications

• Excellent communication skills and a positive, can-do attitude.
• Healthcare or caregiving experience is preferred but not essential.
• Full NZ driver’s licence and reliable transport are required for most roles.
