Job summary

Health New Zealand | Te Whatu Ora in Marlborough/Marlborough region is seeking a casual Sonographer to provide ultrasound services in a friendly radiology team. Start and finish times are between 8.00am and 5.00pm, with a Monday to Sunday roster and rotating shifts.

No on-call is required. You will have experience in general, vascular, upper abdomen, obstetric, gynecological and musculoskeletal ultrasound, NZ registration and a current Annual Practising Certificate in Ultrasound, and strong

Qualifications

• NZ registration and current Annual Practising Certificate in Ultrasound.
• Excellent technical skills and knowledge.
• Well-developed communication and critical-thinking skills, with a commitment to family-centred care.

Responsibilities

• Provide a safe and efficient ultrasound service within the clinical environment and complete comprehensive examinations.
• Recommend appropriate techniques for patient care.
• Work as part of the radiology team in a supportive and friendly department.
