MASH Trust is looking for a casual Support Worker in Palmerston North to join the Supported Independent Living (SIL) team. You will walk alongside people in their daily lives, helping them build confidence, make choices, and live independently.

Ideal candidates are patient, empathetic, and reliable team players who can assist with personal cares and have a full NZ driver licence. This role offers a flexible schedule and a supportive work environment.

Qualifications

• Be patient, friendly, and kind, with the ability to understand, communicate, and genuinely connect with people.
• Person-centred focus.
• Professional, honest, and a reliable team-player with a flexible mindset.
• The ability to carry out personal cares, including showering and dressing.
• A Full NZ Driver Licence is essential, as is your own vehicle to transport those you are supporting.

Responsibilities

• Assist with day-to-day activities such as appointments, walks, and celebrations of small wins.
