Job summary

Millennium Services Group is seeking a Security Officer on a casual basis inHornby, Christchurch. You will patrol, respond to incidents, and deliver strong customer service in a shopping-centre environment.

Applicants must hold a valid Security Licence and COA, plus First Aid/CPR. Availability for day and night shifts, and full NZ working rights, are required. Join a well-established national organisation with ongoing training and opportunities for growth.

Qualifications

• Hold a valid Security Licence and COA as required for security roles.
• Current First Aid and CPR certification is essential.
• Experience in retail or customer-facing environments is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Conduct patrols to ensure safety of people and property.
• Provide a professional security presence and assist customers.
• Respond to alarms, incidents, and emergencies promptly.
• Identify risks and act according to site procedures.
• Complete incident reports and maintain records.
