Casual Work Opportunities – Timaru Store

We’re currently looking for enthusiastic individuals to join our team in casual roles at our Timaru store. Opportunities are available across both our retail departments and JB’s Café.

At JB’s Café, we serve a delicious range of food and beverages, much of which is prepared fresh on-site each day. From homemade sweets to vibrant salads, there’s something for everyone. We pride ourselves on delivering exceptional customer service in a warm and welcoming environment.

In our retail store, you’ll be working with a variety of premium brands including Deadly Ponies, Trelise Cooper, Jellycat, Le Creuset, and many more. You’ll enjoy engaging with customers, helping them find what they need, tidying and restocking shelves, and operating the POS system. Flexibility is key—we’re looking for team players who are happy to assist wherever needed, whether that’s in Womenswear, Menswear, Homewares, or Accessories.

  • Proven customer service experience – essential

Additional Information
  • These are casual positions with no fixed hours or days. We’re looking for people who are available to work across our 7-day trading schedule:
  • Weekdays: 9:00 AM – 5:30 PM
  • Weekends: 10:00 AM – 4:00 PM

Flexibility is key, as shifts may vary depending on business needs.
