About the Role

We are looking for an experienced receptionist to join our team at the Kenepuru Accident & Medical Clinic (KAMC) on a casual basis. You will be responsible for meeting and greeting patients, maintaining accurate data records, invoicing patients, answering and directing incoming calls, managing administration tasks as required and ordering radiology referrals. The role is casual and you would need to be able to work a combination of 7- and 8-hour shifts including weekends and night shifts within the roster. The ideal candidate would be available for a minimum of 1 shift/week due to needs in the clinic.

Salary

Salary range for this role is $67,943-$77,141 (pro rata), depending on experience.

About the Team / Service

KAMC provides a 24/7 service for assessment and management of injury or medical problems that are sudden, unexpected or unplanned, which are non-life or limb threatening, but which require urgent clinical care. KAMC provides primary urgent after-hours care and provides a supportive link between community primary health services and tertiary hospital services. The team consists of Urgent Care Physicians, independent medical staff, local GPs, receptionists, nurse practitioners and registered nurses. KAMC sees approximately 36,000 patients per annum and serves the community and population of the Porirua basin.

Reception Team

The Reception Team is a busy and friendly team who provide a great front of house service to patients as well as providing clerical and administrative support to the Clinic.
