Job summary

Qube in Auckland is seeking casual stevedores to support loading, unloading and movement of cargo at the Port of Auckland. You will contribute to safe, efficient operations and must hold a current full Class 1 driver license.

Shifts are offered as required, 24/7 operation, with 8–12 hour rosters. You will be part of a busy port team, with opportunities to gain hands-on experience and to work with various cargo handling tasks.

Qualifications

• Must have full Class 1 driver license.
• Must be legally entitled to work in New Zealand.
• Pre-employment medical, drug test and ACC/MOJ criminal history check required.

Responsibilities

• Drive vehicles off cargo ships (Ride-on, RO-RO).
• Load and unload cargo vessels.
• Handle, tally and store cargo.
• Operate port equipment where qualified.
• Complete cargo and delivery documentation.
• Lash and secure cargo.
• Support safe and efficient port operations.
