Job summary

Jora New Zealand is seeking CASUAL On-Call Data Center Technician to join our Hastings team. You will support data center operations, hardware staging, delivery, upgrades, and remote IT troubleshooting on an on-call basis for diverse clients.

Responsibilities include safely storing and staging IT equipment, arranging timely hardware delivery to client sites, performing replacements, and collaborating with our remote support team to minimise downtime.

Qualifications

• Basic experience as a Data Center Technician or IT worker.
• Knowledge of data center equipment and IT hardware.
• Ability to work on an on-call basis.

Responsibilities

• On-call availability to respond to equipment staging and delivery requests.
• Safely store and stage IT hardware and equipment.
• Ensure timely delivery of hardware to client sites.
• Perform hardware replacements and upgrades in data center environments.
• Troubleshoot and diagnose faulty equipment to minimise downtime with remote support.
• Follow safety protocols and best practices in data center operations.
