Job summary

Health New Zealand | Te Whatu Ora is seeking experienced MRI Technologists to join a casual workforce across Auckland City Hospital, Greenlane Clinical Centre, and Starship Children’s Hospital. You will support MRI services with four advanced scanners and provide high‑quality diagnostic imaging in a flexible roster.

Shifts are rostered between 7:00am and 8:30pm, Monday to Sunday, across multiple sites to meet service needs.

Qualifications

• Current registration with the New Zealand Medical Radiation Technologists Board.
• Current Annual Practising Certificate (APC) required.
• Demonstrated MRI scanning experience in a clinical environment.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• The ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team.
• A commitment to delivering safe, high‑quality patient care.

Responsibilities

• Support MRI services across Auckland City Hospital, Greenlane Clinical Centre and Starship Children's Hospital.
• Contribute to high‑quality diagnostic imaging in a casual, flexible roster.
• Operate across multiple MRI scanners and adapt to patient needs.
