Job summary

Ritchies in Oamaru is seeking a casual School Bus Driver to operate school runs before and after classes. You may also take on charter work as needed. The role is casual and on an 'as and when required' basis, with runs typically around two hours each.

You will enjoy school holidays off, subject to training and development needs, and you must be a safe, neat, and community‑minded driver who transports students with care.

Qualifications

• Must hold Full Class 2 NZ License (minimum).
• Reliable and dependable in all tasks.
• Excellent communication with students, parents, and schools.
• P endorsement desirable for bus operations.

Responsibilities

• Transport children to and from school on scheduled runs.
• Drive school bus during school hours, with potential for charter work.
• Ensure safety and compliance with bus rules and regulations.

The Opportunity;

We're searching for a casual School Bus Driver to join our Pearsons team. Reporting to our Oamaru Depot, you will be working school bus hours, before and after school.
There is also the opportunity to pick up extra work doing charters when required.

You will get school holidays off, except when we need you for ongoing training or development. This is a casual role, on an 'as and when required' basis. Each run for schools is approximately two hours
