Job summary

Ritchies Transport in Oamaru is seeking reliable School Bus Drivers for part-time routes with morning and afternoon runs. You’ll help transport students safely and enjoy a consistent local schedule with potential charter work and school holidays off, except for training.

Qualifications

• Full Class 2 NZ License (minimum) with Passenger endorsement.

Responsibilities

• Transport students to and from school on morning and afternoon runs.
• Maintain safety and discipline on the bus.
• Perform pre-trip checks and report any vehicle issues.
• Collaborate with team and communicate effectively.

The Opportunity

We are looking for reliable and community minded School Bus Drivers to join our team in Oamaru.

This is a rewarding part-time role where you’ll play an important part in safely transporting students to and from school each day. With morning and afternoon runs, this position offers excellent work-life balance and suits those looking for consistent, local work.

No two days are the same but every day you’ll be making a positive difference in your community.

There is also the opportunity to pick up extra work doing charters when required. You will get school holidays off, except when we need you for ongoing training or development.
