Job summary

Ecrotek NZ is seeking casual Manufacturing & Production Operators to support our production team during peak periods. This role is casual with no guaranteed hours but expected full-time hours for 6–8 weeks, with potential for ongoing work.

You will operate machinery, assist with manufacturing, packing and quality checks, and help maintain a clean, safe production area. Overtime and varied hours may be required during busy periods.

Qualifications

• Previous manufacturing or production experience preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality work.
• Ability to work well in a team or independently.
• Reliable, punctual and trustworthy with a strong work ethic.
• Follow procedures and work with minimal supervision.
• Physical fitness and ability to stand for extended periods.
• Ability to lift moderate weights and work overtime during busy periods.
• Flexibility around working hours as production volumes change.

Responsibilities

Casual Manufacturing & Production Operators

Reporting to the Production Team Leader, you will be an important part of our manufacturing operation, assisting across a variety of production tasks to ensure customer orders are completed safely, efficiently and to our high-quality standards. As a casual employee, you will be contacted to work as and when required to support our production team during busy periods. While there are no guaranteed hours, we anticipate this role will involve full-time hours for approximately 6–8 weeks during our peak production season. We also expect there will be ongoing opportunities for work throughout the year as production demands require. The role can involve some heavy lifting, working in both hot and cold environments, and ensuring our products are manufactured and packed to the highest quality standards.

Key responsibilities
