Job summary

Radius Care in Dunedin is seeking a casual kitchen assistant to support the kitchen team with meal service, food prep, and maintaining a clean, hygienic kitchen environment for residents.

You will assist with dishwashing, equipment cleaning, and stock handling while following infection control protocols. Casual hours apply, with fortnightly pay and weekend shift allowance where applicable.

Qualifications

• Appropriate industry experience preferred, but not required.
• Organisational skills.
• Personable and reliable, with a positive attitude and excellent people skills.

Responsibilities

• Ensuring utensils and equipment are clean, and stored safely and correctly
• General kitchen duties, including dishwashing
• Maintaining infection control principles
• Handling, labelling, and storing chemicals correctly
