Job summary

Presbyterian Support Otago’s Ross Home in Dunedin is seeking a Health Care Assistant on a casual basis. You will support residents with personal care, mealtime assistance, and daily living activities in a compassionate Enliven setting.

The role emphasizes empathy, teamwork, and a strong work ethic, with preferred experience in aged care and a Level 3 Health & Wellbeing certificate. This casual position offers on-site work in Dunedin and opportunities for training.

Qualifications

• Be empathetic, compassionate, and patient.
• Work well in a team.

• Be physically fit and strong.
• Have enthusiasm and a sense of humour.
• Experience in an aged care environment is preferred.
• Level 3 Certificate in Health and Wellbeing or equivalent will be an added advantage.
