Qualifications

• Fellowship required by appealing to a consultant role.
• Eligible for Annual Practising Certificate and vocational registration with the Medical Council of New Zealand.
• Experience as a consultant in General Adult psychiatry and treating mental health and addictive disorders.
• Ability to work within a cohesive, collaborative team culture.

Responsibilities

• Provide specialist psychiatric assessment, diagnosis, and treatment for adults.
• Deliver clinical leadership within the Nelson Mental Health & Addictions Service and related teams.
• Contribute flexibly to inpatient and community settings as needs arise.
