Health New Zealand | Te Whatu Ora is advertising a Casual Dental Assistant in Central Auckland within the Auckland Regional Dental Service. The role supports dental therapists and provides administrative help across multiple clinics serving children 0–18.

About the Role

Auckland Regional Dental Service (ARDS) is a community dental service run by Waitemata District Health Board. We provide free dental care to children aged 0-18 years who live in North, West, East, Central and South Auckland. We have many clinics located in schools and in the community and provide care in our diagnostic and treatment vans.

• Support and assist dental therapists to provide an efficient customer focused service to clients
• Provide administrative support as required

About the Team/Service/ Location

We are looking for a Dental Assistant on a casual basis to join our service in the C1 team which covers the Central Auckland Area.

About you

Previous dental assisting experience is not necessary however NZ Restricted or Full driving license is necessary All we ask is that you have a passion for:

• Working in health and working with children
• Making a difference in your community
• Working in a high functioning team with motivated individuals
• Learning new skills and challenging yourself
