Job summary

Dunedin PAK’nSAVE is hiring casual Daytime Checkout Assistants in Dunedin for a fast-paced, customer-focused team. You will help customers finish their shopping, process transactions accurately, and support colleagues during busy periods.

A great attitude, reliability and willingness to learn are essential; availability for daytime shifts on short notice is also required. Join a locally owned team known for good banter and a positive work culture, with opportunities to grow and develop retail

Qualifications

Are you someone who enjoys being on the go, likes helping people, and takes pride in providing great customer service?

We're looking for Daytime Casual Checkout Assistants to join our friendly and hardworking Checkout Team at Dunedin PAK’nSAVE.

This role is perfect for someone who enjoys variety, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and has the flexibility to pick up additional daytime shifts when needed. Our checkout team plays a huge part in creating a positive experience for every customer, and we're looking for people who enjoy helping others and being part of a team that works hard and has fun along the way.

What You’ll Be Doing:

• Creating Great Customer Experiences - Be the friendly face that helps customers finish their shopping trip on a positive note. A smile, great communication and a willingness to help go a long way.
• Keeping Things Moving - Process transactions accurately and efficiently while maintaining excellent customer service, especially during our busy periods.
• Supporting the Team-Whether it’s helping out at short notice, assisting a customer, or jumping in where needed, we’re all about teamwork.
• Thriving in a Busy Environment - Our busiest times can be fast-paced and demanding. You’ll enjoy staying active, keeping focused and delivering great service no matter what’s happening around you.
• Bringing Flexibility - We’re looking for people who can help us when we need it, particularly with additional daytime shifts and busy trading periods.

Hours:

• Casual position.
• Hours will vary depending on business requirements.
• Availability to work daytime shifts at short notice is essential.
