Job summary

Farmlands Co-Operative – Oamaru, South Island is seeking a motivated salesperson to join our local store on a casual basis with flexible week coverage. You’ll deliver friendly service to shareholders and customers, helping with product advice and sales at the counter.

You should have retail or customer service experience, solid computer skills, a full clean Class 1 driver’s licence, and the ability to lift 25 kg.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in retail sales or customer service.
• Sound computer skills
• A full clean Class 1 driver's license
• The ability to lift 25kgs

Responsibilities

• Provide retail sales and customer service to shareholders and customers.
• Advise customers on sheep and beef, dry stock and general agricultural products.
• Operate a point of sale (POS) system.
• Help and maintain the bulk store.
• Complete administrative tasks such as stock ordering and receipting.
