Job summary

STUDYPLUS CONSULTANTS LIMITED – Auckland, North Island is seeking motivated carpenters to install, repair, and maintain wooden structures, foundations, framing, cabinetry, doors, flooring, and trims. Full-time role offers 30–40 hours per week with opportunities to upskill and advance in carpentry.

Strong candidates will have a Level 4 carpentry qualification and 1–2 years of related experience, plus a valid Class 1 driver’s license and willingness to travel to Hamilton as needed.

Responsibilities

• Interpret blueprints, sketches, and construction plans.
• Measure, cut, assemble, and install window frames, doors, flooring, and cabinetry.
• Shape materials with hand and power tools; maintain tools.
• Build frameworks and roof structures; install sub-flooring and floorboards.
• Fit fascia panels, roof sheathing, exterior cladding, and door/window frames.
• Perform on-site inspections and repair or replace damaged sections.
• Ensure workspace safety and PPE; travel to Hamilton when required.
