Job summary

Health New Zealand - Te Whatu Ora Southern in Dunedin is hiring a Registered Nurse for the Cardiology Cath Labs. The role covers pre and post procedural care, scrub and circulating duties, and outpatient testing support.

You will work within a small, skilled team, with on-call duties and a pro-rata salary band of $83,000 to $109,000 per annum. NZ Nursing Council APC registration is required, with training provided if needed.

Qualifications

• Current registration or working towards NZ Nursing Council APC.
• Interventional cardiology experience is preferred but not essential.

Responsibilities

• Scrub and Circulating for Interventional Procedures like Angiograms and Pacemakers.
• Assist with outpatient cardiology testing.
• Support patients undergoing cardiac procedures through pre and post procedural care.
• Develop advanced life support skills and cardiac rhythm interpretation.
