Make a difference in a small community as part of a dynamic team of professionals providing a high-quality, timely, and evidence-based cardiology service. Our overarching aim is to improve cardiac health for the people of New Zealand and reduce inequities of health outcomes experienced by people living in an isolated and rural community.

Day-to-day responsibilities include outpatient clinics, ward consultation, reporting investigations, providing support for clinical colleagues, cardiac physiologists, cardiac technicians, and echocardiography triaging, and protocoling imaging requests.

The North Island of New Zealand is known for its volcanic activity, national parks, and cosmopolitan cities. Surrounded by bays and islands, it’s known as “the City of Sails.” At its southern tips is harbourside capital Wellington, home to the national museum, Te Papa.
