Job summary

Health New Zealand | Te Whatu Ora Taranaki in New Plymouth is seeking a Section Head Clinical Cardiac Physiologist to lead a high-performing cardiac physiology team within the Taranaki District.

You will mentor staff, manage workflow, ensure safety and quality, work with Clinical Nurse Manager and Cardiac Sonography lead, and contribute to professional development and service improvement.

Qualifications

• SCT membership with The Society of Cardiopulmonary Technology NZ (current).
• APC with CPRB current or in progress.
• BSc and Post Grad Dip MTEX.
• IBHRE certificate and extensive PPM/ICD/CRT/ILR experience; leadership preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop a high-performing cardiac physiology team.
• Coordinate workflow and prioritise patient care.
• Mentor staff and deliver education and feedback.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and clinical leads.
• Develop quality assurance framework and equipment maintenance support.
