Job summary

Capable NZ is seeking an Engineering Facilitator to lead delivery within the Bachelor of Engineering Technology. The role supports adult learners, travels with learners when needed and leverages remote delivery tools, primarily Teams, with an office in Dunedin for onsite work.

You will bring strong knowledge of engineering, adult education principles, and a collaborative, self-managing approach to support learner success across a nationwide NZ learner base.

You will be adaptable to the needs of your learners, driven to help them succeed, and work well within appropriate graduate profiles, policies and processes.You will have extensive experience in Engineering and ideally either leadership, management or adult education. You will have a strong professional practice framework, be a culturally responsive practitioner and be self-managing, organised and thorough. Your style will be energising and results-focused.Reflection will be natural to you and your curiosity to learn about others will make you a good listener with strong questioning skills. A deep sense of accountability will drive you to go the “extra mile” for your learners; you will have their best interests at heart and mind.
