Job summary

Inspired Education Group is seeking a proactive Campus Security & Maintenance Officer for ACG Parnell College in Auckland. This permanent, full-time role runs from 11.45am to 8.15pm, Monday to Friday, starting October 2026. You will support facilities coordination, administration, maintenance, health and safety, and campus security.

You will report to the Property Manager and contribute to a safe, well-maintained, welcoming campus for students, staff and visitors.

Qualifications

• A full, current New Zealand driver licence.
• Experience in facilities coordination, property support, maintenance, administration, or a similar role.
• Strong organisational, communication, and customer service skills.
• Sound computer literacy with Microsoft Office applications.
• Hands-on approach to managing a varied workload.
• Attention to detail and health and safety best practice.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• A positive, proactive attitude for smooth campus operation.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate facility bookings and maintain an accurate calendar of campus events.
• Act as the first point of contact for external groups wishing to use College facilities.
• Complete administrative tasks supporting facilities and property management, including weekly staff communications.
• Undertake basic maintenance of buildings, equipment, grounds, and car park areas.
• Assist with setup, relocation, and movement of furniture and resources.
• Report maintenance issues and support asset management projects.
• Assist with security measures, alarm procedures, and campus access management.
• Support health and safety compliance, including monitoring contractors on site.
• Participate in student pedestrian crossing supervision as part of a duty roster.
• Provide professional and responsive support to staff, students, visitors, and the wider College community.

ROLE SUMMARY:

ACG Parnell College is seeking a proactive and organised Campus security & Maintenance Officer to join our team in a permanent, full-time ( 11.45am until 8.15pm Monday to Friday) position commencing in October 2026. Reporting to the Property Manager, this diverse role combines facilities coordination, administration, property maintenance, health and safety, security support, and operational assistance. The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring our campus remains safe, secure, well-maintained, and welcoming for students, staff, visitors, and external users.

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE WILL HAVE:
