Job description
Calling all Intermediate and Senior Accountants

Our focus is on helping our clients grow stronger businesses through timely, accurate, and easy-to-interpret financial records.

A lot of what we do looks like what other accounting firms do, but two of our key differences are HOW we do it and WHO we have as part of our team.

So what’s the role & opportunity?

Whether you are an intermediate or highly experienced accountant, we’ve got options for you! If your happy place is solving problems and balancing numbers, and you enjoy working with others to get the job done well, then we’d love to talk with you.

Responsibilities include:

  • Preparing annual financial statements and tax returns
  • Working within budgeted time frames
  • Review, streamline, and strengthening of existing internal procedures
  • Working closely with our Business Advisory team to ensure client expectations are met and exceeded
  • Mentoring and developing team members, sharing your expertise, and helping others level up their skills

Why Invercargill and Southland?

Our streets are safe, our education is top-notch, and the cost of living is affordable. Living at the southern edge means embracing a life of possibilities.

Our people love to work for us, and here’s why:

  • Competitive salary and flexible hours
  • Inner city car parking and weekly & monthly team connection
  • Learning and development, including a personalized plan and internal and external training programs
  • Mentoring and coaching from industry leaders and opportunities for growth
  • A workplace culture centered on health, wellbeing, and that something extra

If you think you’re the person we need but don’t yet meet everything we’ve included above – we still want you to apply. Team fit, along with the capability and willingness to grow and learn, will take you a long way!
