We\'re looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Administrator to step into a fixed-term position supporting our Corporate Services group through to the end of June 2026. This role is part-time, working 22.5 hours per week with flexibility around when those hours are worked. The heart of this role lies in finance support—raising and managing purchase orders, keeping a close eye on incoming invoices. You\'ll be the go-to person for liaising with vendors and internal teams to resolve discrepancies and keep our financial processes running smoothly.
There will be the opportunity to support the People and Culture team with administration tasks; coordinating meetings, preparing agendas, capturing minutes, and following up on action items to ensure nothing slips through the cracks. You\'ll help maintain accurate records and documentation, contributing to a compliant and well-organised work environment.
We’re seeking a proactive team player with a can-do attitude, a knack for solving problems, and a great sense of humour to match. You’ll bring at least three years of experience in a similar business support role, along with strong proficiency in Microsoft Office and financial systems such as TechOne (or comparable platforms). A solid understanding of finance processes—including purchase orders and invoice receipting—is essential, as is a general grasp of how business operations tick. Experience within a local government setting would be a definite plus, giving you a head start in navigating our environment.
The mahi we do really makes a difference, so if you are motivated to help nurture our region’s taiao, we are keen to learn more about you.
