Job description

As the Business Integrations Manager, you'll take a lead in ensuring the business requirements for Property & Digital initiatives are understood for the delivery of solutions across MIT and Unitec. Your leadership will ensure integration efforts are consistent, scalable, and aligned with organisational goals. You will lead the establishment of the new entities' Project Management Framework and lead the operationalising of it. Working closely with SME's project teams, and business analysts, you'll help shape seamless customer journeys and process workflows across our infrastructure improvements (Digital & Property).

What You'll Do

  • Facilitate alignment between business needs and solutions across teams
  • Design and implement scalable integration frameworks in collaboration with SME's and project teams
  • Support teams in mapping and improving customer (students & internal) journeys and application workflows
  • Oversee Business Analysts to ensure data and insights drive integration success
  • Promote understanding and adoption of integrated systems among internal stakeholders
  • Monitor performance metrics and drive continuous improvement
  • Establish the PMO framework and embed it in the organisation for Property & Digital
  • Develop and manage project plans aligned with the digital strategy
  • Provide governance reporting on progress, risks, and financial performance

What You'll Bring

You'll have a tertiary qualification in Information Systems, Business, related field, or level of real-world experience. Additionally proven experience in systems integration, leadership in a transformative environment and customer centric process design. Your leadership and stakeholder engagement skills will be strong, and you'll be confident translating business needs into scalable solutions.

You'll also bring:

  • Familiarity with Project methodologies, including agile delivery models and cross-functional teams
  • Experience with data, analytics, and business intelligence tools
  • A commitment to Te Tiriti o Waitangi and inclusive workplace values
