We’re excited to offer an outstanding opportunity for a Business Development Manager to join our Vero Central Region team. In this role, you’ll help lead the way in driving sustainable growth and profitability, while managing valuable relationships with both new and existing intermediaries. Your work will be pivotal in ensuring that we deliver the Vero value proposition to our customers in the most effective and efficient way possible.

Your Key Responsibilities

  • Cultivate and maintain strong, long-term relationships with intermediary partners by offering expert knowledge of Vero’s wide range of insurance products and services.
  • Play a key role in implementing regional sales strategies to ensure that customer needs and expectations are not just met but exceeded.
  • Drive sales revenue, profitability, and market growth, all while retaining and nurturing existing business.
  • Build and maintain strong connections with intermediaries and key internal stakeholders to ensure seamless collaboration.
  • Identify, create, and convert new opportunities in line with Vero’s underwriting strategies and guidelines.

What You’ll Need To Succeed

  • 5+ years of recent experience in Commercial General Insurance
  • A results-driven, sales-focused mindset with the ability to find solutions
  • Exceptional relationship management skills with a passion for connecting with others
  • Strong communication and influencing skills to engage stakeholders at all levels
  • Excellent time management, with the ability to juggle multiple priorities
  • Professional insurance qualifications (ANZIIF)
